These two Coronation Street actors just confirmed they are dating

It seems there is love in the air on the set of Coronation Street as it has been confirmed that actors Daniel Brocklebank and Rob Mallard are dating.

The pair, who play Billy Mayhew (Daniel) and Daniel Osbourne (Rob), have been keeping fans guessing about their relationship over the last few weeks after they've been getting cosy for snaps on social media.

Now Daniel has seemingly confirmed his romance by liking a fan's message on Twitter.

The message read, 'You and Rob make a very handsome couple. Happiness to u both xxxxxx' sic.

As well as posing for snaps on social media, the pair attended the LGBT Awards together in London last week and posed for photos side by side on the red carpet.

Daniel also expressed his delight at attending the awards with Rob on his Twitter account, where he uploaded a selfie of the pair in their suits.

Reports are suggesting the couple have been together for the last three months after instanly hitting it off when Rob joined the cast back in December last year.

Daniel first joined Coronation Street as gay vicar Billy Mayhew in December 2014, with his character enjoying a romance with cobbles favourite Sean Tully.

As well as his role in Corrie, Daniel has starred in TV shows including Waterloo Road, Doctors and Midsomer Murders and has also played a role in a number of films including Shakespeare In Love.

Meanwhile Rob is relatively new to the cobbles having only joined late last year. The actor only publicly came out gay in January 2017 during an interview with Gay Times magazine.

He admitted he'd told his family and friends eight years before and was overwhelmed by their support for his decision.

After joining the soap as Ken Barlow's youngest son Daniel Osbourne, his character suffered heartache recently when it was revealed his girlfriend Sinead Tinker had suffered a miscarriage.
