Justin Bieber has revealed an intimate acoustic version of his new single 'What Do You Mean?'.

Stripping the record-breaking single - it recently broke the Spotify streaming record - right back, Justin had promised to treat his fans to the song if his new single managed to reach number 1 in both the UK and US.

After hitting the top spot in both countries, the singer tweeted a link to the acoustic version to celebrate, saying: "Thanks for breaking the Spotify record and making us #1. As promised #WhatDoYouMean acoustic."

The first-week streaming record had previously been set by British megastars, One Direction, with their single 'Drag Me Down'. Bieber's track racked up 21 million streams in five days since the single's release. It has since hit the 45 million mark!

It follows an emotional return to the MTV VMAs for the singer, who later admitted he had struggled to fight back the tears due to his previous awards shows performance where he had been booed by fans.

His new album is out on November 13th.
