The contestant didn't do great!

A recent contestant on The Chase has been mocked for confusing pop star Justin Bieber with the Canadian President, Justin Trudeau.

If you are a regular viewer of the show you will know that there have been some epic fails from contestants in the past, but this is definitely up there with the best.

Believe it or not, three out of the four contestants made it to the final round to face the show's newest chaser, The Vixen, but it was their embarrassing performance which got viewers talking.

The final trio, made up of Karen, Milo and Natalie faced the questions from Bradley Walsh as they attempted to win a sum of £13,200.

When Bradley asked the question "What links Canadian Prime Ministers Pierre and Justin?" to which he expected to hear the answer 'Trudeau', Natalie quickly pressed her buzzer and belted 'Bieber' before laughing at her stupid mistake.

Viewers of the popular quiz show took to Twitter to say what they thought of the performance.

Unfortunately, the embarrassment didn't end there, again contestant Natalie gave the wrong answer when she answered 'Thunderbirds' to the question 'Wiley Kit and Wiley Kat where characters in which popular 80s cartoon'.

Obviously meaning to say 'Thundercats' the blonde again laughed off her mistake.

After only managing to get 15 correct answers between them, unsurprisingly they were caught in quick succession by chaser Jenny Ryan, failing to win any money.

As the show has grown in popularity, fans enjoy interacting with it and giving their opinions on social media. Unfortunately for the contestants some opinions can be harsh.

Natalie isn't the only contestant to have given an embarrassing answer on the show.

At the start of the year, Hannah, who was studying at university was branded the 'worst ever' by viewers which led to Ant and Dec getting in on the action.

The duo tweeted their opinion along with other shocked viewers.
