Bebe Rexha to host and perform at the MTV EMAs

The awards will take place in Rotterdam this year.

Chart topper Bebe Rexha has been announced as the host of this year's MTV EMAs to be held on the 6th November in Rotterdam.

Bebe rose to fame featuring on a number of top ten singles including David Guetta's 'Hey Mama' and Cash Cash's 'Take Me Home'.

The announcement was celebrated on Facebook last night with a live stream from MTV's studios in Times Square, New York where the fans got a chance to find out more about the show's host.

Although fairly new to the music industry as a performer Bebe has written a number of songs over the years including Eminem's The Monster featuring Rihanna and other hits for Selena Gomez, Pitbull and Iggy Azalea.

As a performer Bebe joins the previously-announced Bruno Mars, Shawn Mendes, DNCE, Lukas Graham and Zara Larsson.

Further presenters and performers will be announced over the coming weeks.
