Becky Hill gives emotional thank you to fans as she wins her first BRIT Award

Wow what an incredible career Becky Hill has had so far, from hits such as 'I Could Get Used To This', to the iconic 'Gecko', the singer has now bagged herself her first ever BRIT Award! Picking up the award for Best Dance Act at The BRIT Awards 2022 with Mastercard.

As Becky took to the stage to accept her award, she struggled to hold back her happy tears and thanked all of her fans for their support: “This was fan voted for and in the two weeks that people could vote for, I have never been so heart-warmed, I don’t even know if that’s a word, by all of my fans who just wanted to see me do well and support me. Thank you so much for making this a possibility for me.

“I love dance music, I have been a little drum and bass raver since I was 12 years old, I love dance music, to be up against people like Raye, Joel, Fred, Calvin is an honour for me. It’s been 16 years since they had a dance category and I am so honoured to win this award tonight.

“I need to thank my manager Alex who funded me when I was 18 just off The Voice and I had no money, who saw me through getting dropped from a record deal, started my own record deal and signed again to the amazing Polydor, I want to say thank you again to you guys because you have been amazing. Thank you so much, I’m going to go have it large!”

Earlier in the night, Becky looked incredible as she walked the BRIT Awards 2022 red carpet. Stunning in her green dress, it's safe to say that the 'Heaven On My Mind' singer was glowing!
