Dua Lipa wipes her Instagram account sparking #DL3 rumours
Her third album has been in the works for a while
This year, Dua Lipa has seen success with the release of 'Dance The Night' from the hugely popular Barbie movie, and there has been a lot of interest in her third album. However, it was revealed we'd have to wait until 2024 to see her latest album.
After she originally said the album was 50% done back in 2022, earlier this year she revealed the album wouldn't be released in 2023. Despite this latest information, fans have been left very excited after Dua wiped all of her Instagram posts, and replaced the profile pic with an aquamarine kaleidoscopic eye.
This new profile pic is mirrored on her X (formerly Twitter) profile, and another kaleidoscopic eye has been used on her YouTube page, causing a stir amongst the 'Physical' singer's fans.
Although there has not been any official information from Dua Lipa, fans have been taking to X to express their excitement of an imminent announcement, with one writing: 'DUA LIPA IS COMING! #DL3', with another posting: 'DUA LIPA IS BACK. ARE YOU READY?'.
Earlier this year, Dua teased a new sound for her upcoming album, telling her fans, as reported by Pop Crave: "It has a lyrical theme, more so than sonic. It’s still pop so I’m not getting away from that. I still want to dance and have fun, and do another crazy tour. It’s like a bit more mature in some ways."
She also previously told Vogue Australia: "The album is different – it’s still pop but it’s different sonically, and there’s more of a lyrical theme. If I told you the title, everything would make sense – but I think we’ll just have to wait."
'Future Nostalgia' was Dua's most recent album, out in 2020, which featured her hits 'Don't Start Now', 'Physical', 'Break My Heart', 'Levitating' and more! Since releasing that album, Dua has also released hits such as 'Cold Heart (Pnau remix)' with Elton John, 'Sweetest Pie' with Megan Thee Stallion, 'Potion' with Calvin Harris and her most recent his 'Dance The Night'.

A collection of Dua Lipa's best collabs would not be complete without the iconic 'One Kiss'. Collaborating with the one and only Calvin Harris, it's safe to say this banger was the sound of the summer 2018! The tune was nominated, and won, multiple awards.
‘If Only’ Andrea Bocelli
Teaming up with this classical music legend in 2018, we were graced with the beautiful 'If Only'. Andrea has teamed up with others stars in the past, including Ed Sheeran and Ellie Goulding.
‘Electricity’ with Silk City
This big collab saw Dua combine efforts with electronic duo Silk City in 2018 with 'Electricity'. The duo is comprised of music giants Mark Ronson and Diplo, so it's no surprise this song was a real hit.
‘Sugar’ with Brockhampton
Released in 2020, Dua paired up with alternative hip-hop crew Brockhampton. The band are known for their popular tunes such as 'Sweet' and 'Bleach'.
'Prisoner' with Miley Cyrus
Dua and Miley was the collaboration we never knew we needed, until the pair dropped 'Prisoner' in November 2020! They'd been linked to be working on a collab since November 2019, but the song was confirmed by Miley in September, appearing on her album 'Plastic Hearts'.
'Cold Heart (PNAU Remix)' with Elton John
In 2021, as part of Elton John's 'The Lockdown Sessions' album, Dua Lipa paired up with the music legend to create 'Cold Heart (PNAU Remix)' which was released in August ahead of the full album release in October. The song made it to the top of the charts in October.
'Sweetest Pie' with Megan Thee Stallion
Dua and rapper Megan Thee Stallion teamed up on 'Sweetest Pie'. This is their first collab together and it dropped on 11th March along with an eye-opening music video, with the concept created by Meg.
'Potion' Dua Lipa and Calvin Harris
Dua Lipa and Calvin Harris teamed up for the second time, to release 'Potion' in May 2022. The pair, along with Young Thug, released the song on 27th May and it was immediately a hit with fans.
