Ed Sheeran announces hiatus to 'travel, write and read'
We are going to miss you Ed!
He's released hit after hit in 2019 and been touring the world for pretty much the whole year, but now 'Perfect' singer Ed Sheeran has announced a break from music so he can 'travel, write and read'.
Posting on social media today (Tuesday 24th December), Ed told his fans, 'Hello all. Gonna go on another break again. The Divide era and tour changed my life in so many ways, but now it’s all over it’s time to go out and see some more of the world.
He continued, 'I’ve been a bit non stop since 2017 so I’m just gonna take a breather to travel, write and read. Il be off all social media until it’s time to come back.
'To my family and friends, see ya when I see ya – and to my fans, thank you for always being amazing, I promise to be back with some new music when the time is right and I’ve lived a little more to actually have something to write about. Lots of love x.'

Avicii and Chris Martin
Following the release of Avicii's posthumous album, 'Tim', the music video for 'Heaven', his collaboration with Coldplay's Chris Martin was released. The video was very emotional to watch.

Ariana Grande teamed up with American duo Social House on her single 'Boyfriend'. The music video for the song featured all three of them at a house party, which ended in a fight. Ariana even ended up shooting heart-shaped lasers!

'Without You' comes four years after John's last Top 5 hit, 'Come and Get It' was released and speaking about his new collaboration, John said, "I have also been a fan of Nina and always loved working with her, it was an easy decision to get her on this stonker!"
