It's been a long time coming, but Ella Henderson has finally released her second album 'Everything I Didn't Say', eight years after her debut album 'Chapter One'.

Taking to social media to share a message about her new album, Ella said: 'My brand new album "Everything I Didn't Say" is OUT NOW!! 💜 ✍🏻 Thank you to everyone for sticking by me and being so patient! This has been such a journey and I'm SO happy that you can all finally hear the album! I hope you like it! E.Xx'.

This follows other clips of songs included on her album such as 'Ugly' which she revealed is about: 'embracing every part of yourself, flaws and all'.

Ella's new album also includes her hit with Tom Grennan 'Let's Go Home Together' and her latest single 'Brave', which is a powerful track, 'about shaking the stigma of needing help and embracing someone’s support for you when you need them most'.

The former X Factor contestant has previously opened up about her song 'Brave' taking to Instagram to share an emotional tribute to a friend who had passed away. She told of the meaning behind her new song and dedicated it to her friend Paige Dougall.

Along with posting photos of the pair and a video of Paige singing, Ella said: 'Today I received the news that we lost one of the bravest human beings I have EVER come across in my entire 25yrs. Her name was Paige & she was an absolute angel who did not deserve to be taken away this soon.'

She continued: 'This post isn’t for any other reason than me wanting to tell everyone how life can be so beautiful one minute but then so f---ing hard to swallow the next… which is exactly why I wrote this song that I am about to release. This one is for you Paige. My brave little star 🌟… I will forever think of you when I sing this song from this day on. Sending all my love to Michelle & all of the Dougall family! I love you all very much! Xxx'. (sic)

Ella's album tracks are all available as lyric videos on YouTube and the album has been described as 'an unfiltered story of both personal and artistic growth'. 'Everything I Didn't Say' has been written by Ella, along with a team of songwriters, about feelings of heartbreak, love and self-worth.
