We were thrilled to have Rag'n'Bone Man join us at Hits Live Birmingham on 20th November along with an amazing line-up including Anne-Marie, Tom Grennan, Becky Hill, Dermot Kennedy, Years & Years, James Arthur, KSI and The Wanted!

Next year Hits Live will have THREE incredible shows as we head to Liverpool on the 20th May 2022, Manchester on the 11th November 2022 and Birmingham on the 12th November 2022. Find out how to get your tickets here.

Before his performance, Rag'n'Bone Man got chatting to Tom Green backstage about his experiences meeting fans, and he revealed the weirdest place he has been stopped is the toilets! He told Tom: "It’s awkward, man. I go to Brighton quite a lot to watch the football at the Amex Stadium and quite a lot of times I'm just there trying not to make eye contact. It’s very strange."

Despite his powerful presence on stage, Rag'n'Bone Man admitted that he feels awkward being recognised in public: "If I'm honest, I find it difficult a lot of the time because I'm not that sort of person. I'm quite shy really."

He also revealed that he often gets stopped by fans while doing day to day errands: "When I'm out and about doing regular stuff, like I'm in Tesco’s buying stuff to make my little boy brownies at the weekend. If people come and tap you on the shoulder or they're like, 'Can we have a picture?' I still find that weird now but it’s not like I can hide behind a lamppost."

The 'Anywhere Away From Here' singer also opened up about getting back into live performances following Covid-19 restrictions: "At first I kind of stepped on stage and went, 'Oh my God, how do I do this?'"

"I think when you're in the throw of things you take it for granted that you feel comfortable in that space and you're ready to do what you do. Then suddenly, you have all that time off and you step on stage, you're like, 'How do I do this? How do I engage with people? How do I talk to an audience?'"

As well as getting back into the swing of performing live, Rag'n'Bone Man revealed there could be some new music on the cards: "I think I'm going to make another album quite soon. I just want to get back in the studio. I've got all these ideas. I sat and wrote some songs the other day and I feel like it’s time to do it again."

We can't wait to see what Rag'n'Bone Man comes out with next!
