The Script surprised fans this lunch time (8th November) with a pop-up gig to launch their sixth studio album 'Sunsets & Full Moons'. Announcing the exciting news, the Hits Live artist took to their socials to tease a launch gig telling their fans they could get entry by bringing down a CD, ticket or other merchandise for Irish band.

The Irish pub soon filled up with fans eager to hear the band up close where they performed several songs including their hits 'The Man Who Can’t Be Moved', 'Breakeven', and their latest release from their new album, 'The Last Time'.

Before their gig, Danny, Mark and Glen joined Hits Radio Evening Show presenter Jordan Lee, to talk about their new album, and the influences behind it. It's been 10 years since The Script released their first album, and Danny revealed that there are a lot of eerie parallels between their debut album and their new album.

The band's lead singer explained how at the time they wrote their debut album some of the band had lost parents and it was the, "Epicentre of ground zero".

The 'Superheroes' singer explained that once again, as they were writing their new album some of the band had lost parents, meaning it was a, "Deep, open and honest" album, which made them proud.
