Danny O'Donoghue, Mark Sheehan, and Glen Power, better known as The Script have been entertaining us for the last 21 years, with huge hits such as 'The Man Who Can't Be Moved', 'Breakeven', 'For the First Time', 'Hall of Fame' and their latest offering 'Dare You To Doubt Me'.

However today, the band are celebrating a massive 10 years since they released their third studio album, aptly named '#3'. Released on 7th September 2012, the album was Top 10 hit in several countries, including reaching Number 2 here in the UK.

The album also featured the band's massive songs, 'Hall of Fame' featuring will.i.am, 'Six Degrees of Separation', and 'If You Could See Me Now', and in today's post, The Script asked their fans which their favourite song was.

Responding to the band's request many fans were quick to comment with their favourite, with 'Hall of Fame' and 'Six Degrees of Separation' appearing to be the most popular.

In other news, The Script have just released their latest single 'Dare You To Doubt Me', speaking about the new song, Danny said: "With everything going on in the world we want to spread a positive message that no matter how hard things are, we’ll all come out the other end bigger, better and stronger. Don’t think so? Well, I dare you to doubt me!"

Now take a look through facts about The Script:

1) Danny O’Donoghue and Mark Sheehan had been best friends since they were 12

They used to be in boyband Mytown together, put together by none other than Louis Walsh!

2) Danny and Mark produced songs by Britney Spears, Boyz II Men and TLC

They lived in Los Angeles together, and had a call from Danny's future co-star on The Voice will.i.am, who requested a song for Britney's 2013 album 'Britney Jean' - and they co-wrote 'Now That I Found You'!

3) 'If You Could See Me Now' was written in memory of Danny's late father

Danny's dad Shay sadly passed away on Valentine's Day in 2008, six months before the band's hugely successful self-titled debut album. He has a rose tattoo in memory of him.

4) The band name was inspired by the time they spent living in LA

Apparently, everyone was always talking about film scripts, and the pair would often joke and say: "What's the script?" instead of: "What's up?"

5) Danny apparently shared his pay from The Voice with his bandmates

Danny was a judge on The Voice for the first two series of the show in 2012 and 2013.

6) When he was 17, Danny accidentally spilled wine over The Edge

That's the U2 guitarist, by the way. U2's manager also managed Danny, and the groups spent time together one evening - during which Danny got rather inebriated and fell down a flight of stairs in front of Bono!

7) They once spent a whopping £22k round on drinks for 8,000 people

They told us all about it in November 2019. Mark explained: "Last year when we did the Freedom Charter we bought the biggest round of drinks in history," he explained, as his bandmate Danny added: "Yes, 8,000 drinks - do you know how much the bar bill was? £22,000. Imagine me waking up the next morning and checking my wallet, I was like, 'Oh no'."

8) All of their studio albums have been to Number 1 in Ireland

That's 'The Script' (2008), 'Science & Faith' (2010), '#3' (2012), 'No Sound Without Silence' (2014), 'Freedom Child' (2017) and 'Sunsets & Full Moons' (2019).

9) The Man Who Can’t Be Moved spent over a year in the UK charts

63 weeks, to be exact!
