Timbaland has teased new music from Aaliyah
Rapper Timbaland has teased new music from Aaliyah.
American rapper Timbaland worked with R&B singer Aaliyah before her untimely death in 2001 and often gets asked if he will release any of her music.
On the 8th August Timbaland posted on his Instagram account "People ask me all the time do I have any babegirl music we haven't heard !!!!!well the answer is YES!!!!!!!!"
He has since then posted another photo of Aaliyah just saying "Stay tune!!!!!!".
Aaliyah was killed in 2001 at the age of 22 as she flew back to the US after the filming of her 'Rock the Boat' music video from the Bahamas.
The single was released posthumously and reached number 12 in the UK singles chart.

Despite it being 14 years since her death Aaliyah has had a successful posthumous career receiving many awards and her voice has been used in a number of songs.
