Jordan Lee was joined tonight (23rd April) by Tom Grennan, the singer behind songs such as 'This Is The Place' and 'Found What I've Been Looking For'. And he just had to ask what exactly was he doing in that TikTok video?

In the video, Tom can be seen placing a ladder between two garden chairs, before he steps onto the ladder. Unfortunately for Tom the ladder flips up and sends Tom doing a somersault backwards onto the lawn, as he cries out!

Thankfully Tom has recovered, but he told Jordan he was trying to walk on water! "There's this TikTok thing where there's water so I was trying to be like the next Jesus Christ, but that didn't go to plan and I got absolutely darted with a bullet from god mate!"

During the interview, Tom also revealed how the song came about. His new song, 'Oh Please' is out today and Tom credits the inspiration from the new track as a relationship he was in. Admitting he was probably the toxic person in the relationship, he explained how when he was in this relationship and ex-girlfriend "crept back up and tried to get involved."

He went on to say, "It's basically about not letting temptation steer you away from the road, or the journey that you're on already."

"It's basically being able to say 'no' to temptations," he concluded. In short, "Don't text your ex!"

'Oh Please' has a modern feel with a soul influence, and Tom revealed that for this song, which he worked on with Ed White (Adele and Florence and the Machine), he took a lot of influence from Amy Winehouse and Marvin Gaye.
