Netflix drama Selling Sunset is finally back in our lives as we were gifted the fourth season back in November, but show star Christine Quinn has now revealed that she thinks there is ‘favouritism’ in the show’s edit.

The luxury estate agent didn’t hold back and admitted that she wants other sides of her personality seen on camera.

Speaking about being branded the ‘bad guy’ in the current season, she told E!’s Daily Pop: "I really loved it at first and I was embracing it because I love to put on a show and be a character. It’s so fun for me.

"However I was hoping that there would be multiple sides that would be shown – my vulnerability, different things.

“But throughout the seasons it just seemed to be this one note consistency of my character portrayal so it was hard for me, especially as I was going through a lot this season."

She did add that she understands that one of the main focuses of Selling Sunset is being as entertaining as possible: “I feel like there’s definitely favouritism in the editing room but that is what it is on the show."

Christine has spoken previously about struggling with filming the fourth season following the birth of her son Christian and her battle with postpartum depression after a difficult birth.

Speaking about a certain scene where she was seen doing a yoga session two weeks after her birth, Christine revealed that the scenes were edited to look different to what actually happened.

She said: "And I know, you know, editing and chronological order on the show doesn’t really necessarily help because I had my baby and then I was doing a yoga scene. But in real life and that yoga scene, I was actually pregnant.

“They edited me from you know, the boobs up so I got a lot of backlash on social media saying, 'I can’t believe you’re doing yoga two weeks after giving birth after having an emergency C-section.'"
