Love Island's Kem Cetinay and Amber Davies mocked for 'stupid' answer to question on Good Morning Britain

They took part in a quiz with The Chase star Jenny Ryan

They won over the public to scoop the £50,000 prize on Love Island, but it seems Kem Cetinay and Amber Davies didn't actually know where in the world they were during their time in the villa.

The couple have been appearing on GMB Today all this week to cover Richard Arnold's showbiz section. When The Chase star Jenny 'The Vixen' Ryan appeared on the show this morning to promote the new series, Kem and Amber's intelligence was put to the test.

Stand in presenter Richard Madeley set up a The Chase style quiz, with Kem and Amber playing against Jenny. Asking three questions each, including "What is the capital of Wales", the Love Island couple were doing well until the question, "On which group of Islands was Love Island filmed."

The pair both looked stumped as Kem said, "I thought it was in Majorca", before Amber added, "It was Majorca but what is that?"

As the pair finally settled on the answer 'Canary', The Vixen confirmed it is in fact the Balearic island, leaving the whole studio in hysterics.

Richard Madeley then added, "You idiots! You didn't know where you were? I thought that was an easy one for you."

Fellow presenter Ranvir Singh was also left in fits of laughter and Kem and Amber's answer.

Viewers have so far not been convinced by their presenting skills, with fans of the breakfast show unsure whether to laugh or cry at their appointment.

Hitting back at the negative comments during the show, Kem said, "I’m not going to lie, both of us have been getting a little bit of stick but we’re giving it a go. We’re trying our best, give us a break guys!"

Kem then jokingly added, "It’s not like we have an autocue at home, do you know what I mean?"

It's not all bad for Kem and Amber though! The pair have also had some very supportive messages from their fans since appearing on the show.

Despite split rumours threatening to rock the pair, Kem and Amber have stayed strong in their relationship and seem very happy together.

Check out what the rest of the Love Island couples have been up to since leaving the villa in our gallery below:

Kem Cetinay and Amber Davies

The current Love Island champions dodged a number of issues during their time on the show but now they are out in the real world, the pair seem totally loved up!

Attending a number of appearances together, including a pool party in Mallorca last weekend, Kem and Amber often share snaps of each other to their Instagram pages.

The pair wasted no time in meeting each other's family and friends when they left the villa, Kem shared a cute snap of Amber and his mum with the caption, 'The two most important women in my life'.

Despite the 2017 winners looking loved up, Kem was forced to defend his romance last weekend when his 'friends' said he would break Amber's heart.

One of Kem's friends reportedly said, "It all looks like the modern day fairy tale from the outside, but there is already trouble in paradise. And knowing Kem, it will only be a matter of time before it all goes wrong."

They look loved up enough to us!

Chris Hughes and Olivia Attwood

Ahh Chris and Olivia, they were on and off more than the garden light bulbs during their time in the villa, but it did look like their romance was going well on the outside world.

Attending appearances together and even taking their fake baby Cash Hughes on nights out with them, the pair shared snaps declaring their love for each other.

That was until new rumours this week that the pair had split after Olivia was caught 'getting close' with another man!

According to reports Chris had dumped Olivia after she joined Blackburn Rovers footballer Bradley Deck at a nightclub on Sunday night.

A source close to Chris reportedly told a national newspaper, "Chris has told his close friends it's all over. He's furious and heartbroken to see her all over someone else."

Chris and Olivia have both now slammed the rumours, with Chris supporting his girl at a recent event.

Marcel Sommerville and Gabby Allen

Despite many viewers having doubts about Gabby's real feelings towards Marcel, it seems the couple have been going from strength the strength since leaving the villa.

Jamie Jewitt and Camilla Thurlow

Like the rest of the couples, both Jamie and Camilla have been keeping fans up to date with their romance on social media and look seriously loved up!

Jamie Jewitt and Camilla Thurlow

Since leaving the villa and returning back to England, Jamie has visited Camilla's home and met her family, with Cam also spending time with Jamie's close family and friends. Jamie posted a shot of himself, Camilla and the rest of his family enjoying a movie night, before taking Camilla to see his mum's salon.

The pair then delighted their fans once more when Camilla shared a snap of them travelling to a refugee camp, something that is very close to Camilla's heart.

Captioning the shot with, 'We are on our way! Thank you so much to everyone who has supported us so far - we will keep you all posted on how we get on.'

Alex Beattie and Montana Brown

From the moment they left the villa, Alex and Montana were faced with numerous rumours that they'd not continued their romance outside of the show.

Unlike the other couples, the pair haven't been spotted attending events together and have kept loved up snaps of each other to a complete minimum in the last week.

And as Montana prepares to become clothing brand Pretty Little Things' brand new ambassador, Alex has signed a modelling deal with Boohoo Men, leaving the pair with very little time on their hands for a romance.

Montana has now confirmed her split with Alex after admitting it has been 'hard' on the outside world. Despite the split, the pair have remained friends.
