He's her training partner!

It was only on Wednesday that Love Island fans were shocked to learn new bombshell Antigoni Buxton is the daughter of TV presenter and restaurateur Tonia Buxton, but today it's all about her dad!

After Antigoni made a strong impact when entering the villa on Wednesday night's episode, fans were quick to flock to the singer/songwriter's Instagram page, where they found all about her dad Paul...

Who is Antigoni from Love Island's dad?

Antigoni's dad is a 57-year-old fitness fanatic called Paul, who is married to her mum Tonia.

Upon Antigoni's arrival into the Love Island villa, Paul shared a video of himself alongside his daughter on Instagram, writing: 'Proud of my beautiful daughter and training partner ❤️'.

Paul also occasionally appears on Antigoni's Instagram page, most recently when she wished him a 'Happy Birthday' back in December.

Alongside a snap of the duo on a beach showing off their incredible physiques, Antigoni told her followers: 'Happy Birthday Daddy! 🥰 57 and thriving 💪🏼 You set the bar so high none of these man will ever be good enough🥱 you’re so inspirational and kind and you make the lives of everyone around you better - thank-you for everything! Love you 🤍'. (sic)

Paul married Antigoni's mum Tonia back in September 1996, and the pair have four children together.

Antigoni's mum Tonia was also quick to express her shock and pride at seeing her daughter on Love Island.

She wrote on social media: 'I can not believe that my @antigoni is in the Love Island Villa, she mentioned she would be sunbathing this week I didn’t think she meant in Mallorca! 😆

'We are all so excited for you and know you will be amazing! You have always been an island girl, so I know you will fit right in! 🏝🌊

'Hoping you all love and support my girl, I know she will make us proud! ❤️

'Tune in to my stories every night where I will be commentating the show, or trying to! #loveisland' (sic)

Check out all of the Love Island rules below:

No getting drunk

According to 2017 contestant Kem Cetinay, contestants are allowed one small glass of wine or beer a night with dinner.
Being drunk's an absolute no-no, so sex while intoxicated is obviously against the rules too.

No masturbating

No solo sex acts are allowed in the villa, though obviously allowed to get jiggy with their partner.

No nudity

Contestants cannot be naked in front of other islanders, since the villa is technically a public space.

No books, phones or magazines

The islanders are given snazzy phones from their sponsor, Samsung (what else would they get their texts on?); but anyone sneaking their own mobile phone into the villa would risk being removed.
Same goes for books and magazines, too.

No inappropriate language or behaviour

This could cover homophobic, racist or aggressive language and is quite the broad rule. Inappropriate behaviour is again at producers' discretion, and would include violence and sexual harassment.

No discriminating against staff

Any Islanders who are rude to crew could run the risk of being booted off the show, and contestants must NOT take their mic packs off unless instructed to.

Follow the rule book

Simple. Contestants must obey the rule book they're provided with; which includes information on safe sex, consent and how to know if you're following the guidelines.

Meanwhile, although Antigoni has so far enjoyed dates with Jay Younger, Dami Hope and Davide Sanclimenti, it has emerged she is the ex-girlfriend of former Islanders Jack Fowler.

The 26-year-old dated Jack for a number of months after splitting from her childhood sweetheart.

Speaking about why she's entered Love Island, Antigoni said: "I’ve been single for almost a year and a half and for the whole of the last year my goal has been to have as many different experiences as possible. I really just want to say ‘yes’ to things. Why not? It’ll be fun. I’m a Cypriot girl and I love being in the sun. I’ve got nothing to lose!"

Love Island continues every night on ITV2 at 9pm.
