Ronan Keating breaks silence on son Jack appearing on Love Island

It appears that in order to get into the Love Island villa this year, Islanders must have on their CV that they have a famous relative! As well as both Gemma Owen and Antigoni Buxton, viewers were shocked to learn Ronan Keating's son Jack Keating had entered the villa for Casa Amor.
Jack, who entered the Casa Amor villa alongside five other boys during the episode on Friday 1st July, wasn't shy in revealing who his dad is, dropping the bombshell during a chat with Gemma on Sunday night's show.
Now, as Jack attempts to get to know the girls, his dad Ronan has spoken about his son's latest adventure...
Commenting on Jack's official Love Island picture, Boyzone singer Ronan wrote: 'Let’s Go Son'.
45-year-old Ronan later shared a throwback picture of himself alongside a picture of Jack, asking fans: 'Which ones Jack !!! Then and now @loveisland'. (sic)
It sounds like Ronan and Jack have a great relationship, with Jack telling bosses before his entrance: "My dad is a singer, Ronan Keating.
"He will be watching when I’m on it for sure. He’s buzzing for me, me and my dad are very close, we’re best mates."
Ronan isn't the only member of the family who has spoken about Jack's appearance on the popular ITV2 show.
Jack's mum Yvonne Connolly wrote on Instagram: 'Love island has been providing the entertainment and bringing the drama this season. Just when I thought I can’t take anymore excitement my son Jack keating is heading in to Casa Amor tonight 👀 (It was a hard secret to keep !!)'. (sic)
Ronan's wife Storm later wrote: 'The cat's finally out of the bag! Delighted we don't have to keep this secret anymore.
'Excited (and nervous!) for Jacko but hopefully he finds his match in the villa of loooove.' (sic)

As well as Jack, new boys Billy, George, Deji, Josh and Samuel will be hoping they can impress the girls in order to land a place in the main villa when the recoupling takes place later this week.
Meanwhile, over in the main villa, new girls Summer, Jazmine, Coco, Mollie, Cheyanne and Chyna are hard at work grafting the original boys, and if tonight's preview is anything to go by, it looks like some heads are turning!
