In news which all The Hills fans have been waiting for, the popular MTV reality show is making a COMEBACK and we couldn't be more excited! Not only is the show returning, it's going to feature most of the ORIGINAL cast!

The news was announced at last night's VMAs, with Heidi and Spencer Pratt, Audrina Patridge, Justin Bobby, Frankie Delgado and Stephanie Pratt all in attendance, along with Speidi's adorable little boy Gunner.

Although details of its return are being kept under wraps for now, MTV have released a short teaser trailer, revealing the revamped show will now be called The Hills: New Beginnings.

The short trailer shows some famous LA backdrops as Stephanie Pratt can be heard saying, "It’s like we’re all growing up. It’s weird", whilst an acoustic version of Natasha Bedingfield's famous track 'Unwritten' plays in the background.

SO EXCITING! 🙌🏻🙌🏻🙌🏻

According to new reports, The Hills: New Beginnings will reunite some of the most famous original cast members, showing them with their closest friends and family as they live life in LA. (It's going to be just like old times!)

However, in slightly bad news, it looks like the famous LC (Lauren Conrad), Whitney Port and Kristin Cavallari won't return for the new series. 😞

The Hills was a massively popular show when it first aired on MTV in 2006, following on from Laguna Beach. After six successful seasons and a number of cast changes, the show came to an end in 2010, with THAT ending between Kristen Cavallari and Brody Jenner.

It hasn't yet been confirmed when The Hills: New Beginnings will air, but reports are suggesting it will be in 2019.

BRB, just going to watch re-runs of The Hills for the foreseeable future. 😍
