After both Louis Walsh and Sharon Osbourne left the show, Robbie Williams, his wife Ayda Williams and One Direction singer Louis Tomlinson joined Simon Cowell on the judging panel for the 2018 series.

Despite many people having some reserves about the new line-up before it started, the four judges have been received well, with fans LOVING Louis on the show.

Meanwhile, despite this year's series receiving some of the lowest viewing figures in its history, Simon Cowell recently revealed ITV have offered the show a brand new contract for two years, thanks to their increasing 16-34 aged audience, which will take them through to 2020.

He said, "We could probably do three years or five years, it makes a lot of money. "We got to a point years ago where we were able to compete with Strictly because there was that huge audience. We’re losing people now but fortunately the young audience has actually grown this year and all the advertisers and the sponsors want that income on a Saturday."
