If you tuned into this weekend's X Factor: Celebrity, you will have seen some of the celebrity contestants smash their auditions with their amazing voices.

From Megan McKenna's stunning rendition of her original song to Coronation Street's Victoria Ekanoye literally blowing everyone out of the park, there was some serious talent, giving judges Simon Cowell, Louis Walsh and Nicole Scherzinger some very hard decisions to make.

Yet, when it came down to the nitty gritty of deciding who was to head to London for the live shows, viewers were in uproar when Nicole Scherzinger decided to send home fan favourite Jenny Ryan.

The Chase star lost out to Martin Bashir, Victoria Ekanonye, Rikki Lake and Vinnie Jones, who were all sent to the live shows instead of her.

When the scenes were airing, viewers took to Twitter to express their anger, with one user writing, 'Is this a fix??' while another said, 'Nicole's joking right isn't she...'

However, it's good news for all Jenny fans as ITV has confirmed she has been asked back to perform on the live shows, following the uproar from fans at home.

Confirming the news, Jenny said, "I've loved every moment of The X Factor and I'm delighted to be able to get the opportunity to perform live. The response from the public has been amazing - what an incredible experience. I'm so pleased it's continuing!"

Mentor Nicole added, "Jenny was just brilliant at her audition in LA. That voice of hers is one of a kind, and she's an amazing person to get to know.

"So it was such a tough decision to make. After a lot of discussion we all agreed we had to put her through. The Overs are gonna smash it this year!"

13 acts will now go head to head this Saturday on ITV live at 8.20pm to launch the live shows, with one celebrity being voted off week by week until one wins a record deal.
