Gethin Jones forgives love cheat girlfriend

The word ‘love’ means something different to everyone, to some it may conjure up images of English poets re-sighting sonnets to girls on balconies, for others it might be it’s taking your bae out for a cheeky Nando’s. However, I’m sure we all dread the thought that our partners could do something that upsets us.
During the Hits Radio Breakfast Show on Monday 8th October, Gethin, Gemma and Dave were discussing whether or not you would leave your partner if they kissed someone else. Then Gethin, bravely said “it happened to me a while ago”. He cued up some sad, deep, thought-provoking music as he told his story to his fellow presenters.
Gethin mentioned how he’d actually written a song for a girl he loved, the name of his song was “Together Forever” or “gyda'i gilydd am byth” as it is in Gethin’s native tongue, Welsh.
Gethin, continued with is heartbreak story: “We went to this party and she was kissing someone else”. Co-presenter, Gemma Atkinson asked worryingly: “what did you do?” To which Gethin replied, “I was gutted.” Despite seeing his then-girlfriend kissing someone else, Gethin went on to say: “I liked her that much that I stayed with her.”
Gethin, Gemma and Dave then put it to Hits Radio listeners to see whether others would leave their partners if they kissed someone else.
One Hits Radio listener commented: “Depends on what sort of kiss, just a friendly kiss or if more serious then I think I would find difficult to forgive.”
While another wrote: “That’s a hard one, not sure what I would do if my boyfriend kissed someone else, hard to decide"
It appears by some of the comments made, that many people would be unsure what to do as it is a situation many of us don’t want to find ourselves in. Although, seeing the results of our Twitter poll it seems that Hits Radio listeners aren’t quite as forgiving as Gethin!
