Detectives no longer treating Huyton man's death as suspicious

A man arrested on suspicion of murder has been released with no further action

The death of a man in Huyton on Sunday is no longer being treated as suspicious, Merseyside Police have confirmed.

At around 12.15pm on Saturday 27 April, officers received a report that a man had been found inside a home on York Road.

Emergency services attended but the man, aged 41, was pronounced dead at the scene.

The death is now being treated as non-suspicious and officers are not looking for anyone else in connection with the incident.

A file will be prepared for the coroner.

A 46-year-old man who was arrested on suspicion of murder as part of initial inquiries has now been released with no further action.
