Police are appealing for information about two armed robberies in Rochdale.

Police are appealing for information about two armed robberies in Rochdale. The first happened in AFM News on Bridge Street at about nine o'clock on Saturday (23rd May 2015). The second happened in a newsagent on Taylor Street at about quarter past ten on Monday (25th May 2015). The man police want to speak with is described as white, six foot and stocky. Detective Inspector Diane Johnson of Rochdale division said: “Two men who were just doing their jobs were threatened with a knife. “These were terrifying ordeals and the victims were understandably shaken. "If anyone was in the area and saw the man either before or after the robbery I would ask them to call us."
