The organisers of the Pub in the Park festival have confirmed it is due to return to Chichester this summer.

First held in 2019, the 'foodie festival' - organised by two-time Michelin-starred chef Tom Kerridge - brings together live cooking demonstrations, pop-up pubs, and music.

According to organisers, the event will take place at Chichester College on July 24th and 25th.

Among the pubs set to take part are Kerridge’s two Michelin starred The Hand & Flowers, Jodie Kidd’s The Half Moon Inn Kirdford, The Horse & Groom, Atul Kochhar’s Restaurants including Vaasu and Sindhu,

Musical acts announced for the event include Gabrielle, Craig Charles, Toploader, Dodgy, Jack Savoretti and The Christians - with more set to join that list in the coming weeks.

Tom Kerridge said:

“After the year we’ve had, I think everyone deserves a good-knees up – and what better way to do it than Pub in the Park!

“We’re so excited to be doing what we do best, bringing back our feel-good festival to the towns we love and filling it with lush music and proper good food!”

Complimentary tickets are set to be allocated for local 'health care heroes' and key workers, with organisers in contact with NHS trusts and the emergency services.

Mr Kerridge said:

“Key workers have been the true superheroes of this pandemic, and we want to say thanks by offering 1000 complimentary tickets in each of our towns so these superstars can let their hair down while enjoying some awesome music and lush grub.”

Tickets for the event will go on sale next Friday (March 19th) from the Pub in the Park website.
