What a year it's been.
This year has been a tough year for many with us losing an unprecedented number of celebrities, however there have also been a number of heartwarming, touching moments which have also taken place around the world, here are the best of them.
1. David Beckham brings coffee to a paramedic and patient waiting for an ambulance
In February paramedic Catherine Maynard was waiting with a patient for an ambulance to arrive in the cold when David Beckham surprised them with hot drinks.
The footballer then stayed with the pair until the ambulance arrived. What a gent!
2. Flashmob choir sing Bruno Mars' 'Just The Way You Are' for wife with MS
Carl Gilbertson from Liverpool surprised his wife Laura for their wedding anniversary.
The Liverpudlian organised a flashmob choir to sing the Bruno Mars hit 'Just The Way You Are' with the help of his friend Stephanie, who is Head of Musical Theatre at Liverpool Media Academy.
Laura suffers from multiple sclerosis and can be seen getting emotional in the video. Her husband then hands her a rose as a banner is unravelled reading 'Happy Anniversary Laura.'
3. A Royal message of good luck to Team GB at Rio 2016
In August the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge and Prince Harry recorded a special message to all the athletes taking part in the Olympics.
5. Austistic boy's appeal for birthday cards goes viral
In August what started off as a small appeal for her autistic son to get a few birthday cards ended up with an international response.
Karen Jones, mother of 15-year-old Ollie posted on a local Facebook group, but it ended up being shared over 22,000 times. Ollie received thousands of cards from all over the world.

6. Alistair Brownlee helps his brother Jonny over the line
A month after their spectacular performance at the Olympics, the Brownlee Brothers took part in the World Triathlon Series in Mexico, when Jonny began to struggle.
Putting brotherly love before winning the race Alistair put his arm around his brother and helped him across the line.
7. Tommee Tippee make 500 'little blue cups' to save an autistic boy's life
Last month the father of an autistic boy appealed for help in sourcing a plastic cup which was the only cup his son would drink out of. The cup was a Tommee Tippee cup that had stopped production over a decade ago, but the company came to the rescue and found the old mould.
14-year-old Ben will now have a lifetime's supply of these cups thanks to the Northumberland-based company.
