Electro dance duo Disclosure have announced they will be taking a break from music in a letter posted on Twitter.

Brothers Guy and Howard Lawrence have been entertaining the charts with hits such as 'White Noise' and 'Omen' over the past seven years, but they have now decided they need some well-deserved time off.

The pair started out when they were just 15 and 18-years-old and describe their experience as an 'incredible journey'.

In their statement they said how this year they will be doing a 'few special things' including the festival they are presenting with Rudimental, Wild Life, however for the most part they will be taking some much time off.

Disclosure have enjoyed two number one albums and a number of top 20 hits including collaborations with Sam Smith, AlunaGeorge and Lorde.

Over the years they have also been nominated for a number of BRITs and GRAMMYs.
