Camila has left the band

Published 19th Dec 2016

One of our favourite girl groups is now one member down, as Camila Cabello has decided to leave Fifth Harmony.

It’s understood Camila left the band to focus on her solo career and by the sounds of Fifth Harmony’s statement she didn’t inform her other band mates…

The group revealed the news on their Twitter page this morning (Monday 19th December).

Ally Brooke, Normani Kordei, Dinah Jane Hansen will continue to perform as four piece.

The girls appeared on the US version of The X Factor back in 2012, finishing third in the show. Despite this, they signed a joint deal with Simon Cowell’s label, Syco Music and L.A Reid’s record label, Epic Records.

Since then they have stormed the charts in both the UK and US and released their second studio album 7/27 album in May 2016.

We’re sad that Camila won’t be a part of Fifth Harmony anymore, but excited to hear more from the girls and from Camila as a solo artist.
