Over 250,000 people have applied for The Traitors series 3 😲

Following THAT nail-biting final of The Traitors series two on Friday 26th January, bosses urged fans to apply for the already announced third series, which is expected to land in early 2025.
With applications now closed after having been open for a number of months, it's been reported that nearly 300,000 people have applied, in comparison to the 5,000 applications for series one!

When is series 3 of The Traitors?
BBC and Studio Lambert first announced plans of a third series in November last year, ahead of the second series.
Kalpna Patel-Knight, Head of Entertainment at the BBC, teased what was to come in a further series saying: "The massive unscripted hit The Traitors will be back for a third series. Expect to see more psychological gameplay, exciting challenges and of course Claudia at the helm. It will be a thrilling ride for both avid fans and newcomers to the series for sure. The BBC will always remain faithful to The Traitors."
Stephen Lambert, CEO of Studio Lambert, added: "We’re delighted a third series of The Traitors has been confirmed today ahead of the second series’ arrival on BBC One and BBC iPlayer.
"The Traitors has been so warmly received by viewers, critics and award juries alike. Claudia and the team look forward to keeping audiences on the edge of their seats again with ever more thrilling missions and exceptional players competing in this gripping game of bluff and skill."
Series two of The Traitors, which finished on Friday 26th January, was a huge hit with fans, with episodes averaging six million viewers per episode.
