Love Island's Curtis Pritchard wants a role on Strictly Come Dancing with brother AJ

Love Island's Curtis Pritchard has revealed that he'd LOVE to join his brother AJ Pritchard on Strictly Come Dancing. The 23-year-old, who was a runner-up with his girlfriend Maura Higgins on this summer's series of the show, is also a professional dancer and has previously been on the Irish version of Dancing with the Stars.
But despite landing a gig on The Greatest Dancer as the receptionist, Curtis has admitted that he's got his eye on another TV show - he fancies joining his brother AJ, who has been a professional dancer on Strictly since 2016.
Speaking in an interview with Metro.co.uk, he admitted, "If it came up then, depending on the time, perhaps I wouldn’t say no to it. You know, dancing is something I love to do. It’s not a little hobby, it’s in my blood.
"My dad was a dancer, my brother is, I am. We’ve all done it so much and I wouldn’t say no to it. Perhaps if the opportunity came at the right time, then yes."
But Curtis admitted that things could get very competitive between the brothers, "The fact that I’m working with my brother now, I’m going on tour with him next year, it’s a dream come true.
"We are rivals in our dancing, and we are very, very competitive against each other. But we always have each other’s back, we’ll always protect each other, and we do love each other. Both of our dreams has been to create a career together, and work together in the future, and that’s happening now which is incredible."

My family and friends haven't seen me dance since, not at a wedding or round a handbag so it's going to be a challenge for my partner. In fact I've asked for two, one on each side. I can't see myself in a long frilly dress either. But I'm feeling recklessly excited. Strictly has always been my autumn's entertainment and now I'm part of it! My children will probably leave the country."
James Cracknell

James said, "I'm really looking forward to being a part of Strictly this year. Having spent so many years mucking around in a rowing boat with big men in tight lycra, it's time I learned a new skill. I need to apologise to my kids in advance for the embarrassment."
Alex Scott
