Eight deadly spiders found inside of the I’m A Celebrity camp

Oh no!

The I’m A Celebrity Get Me Out Of Here camp was thrown into lockdown earlier when eight deadly spiders were found inside the camp the celebrities are staying in.

Eight Funnel Web spiders were discovered in a camera hide near to where the celebrities sleep in the camp. Known as one of the deadlest spiders in the world, the Funnel Web spider can kill a human being with its bite after just 15 minutes.

Luckily for the celebrities, all eight of the spiders have now been removed.

This isn’t the first time the I’m A Celebrity camp has attracted some unwanted visitors. Earlier in the week, bosses found a venomous brown snake on the entry point into the jungle.

Bob McCarron, who has been the show’s medic since it first started said, “The funnel webs are the most dangerous spider in the world. There is an anti-venom and of course none of the celebs have ever been bitten by them, a couple of crew have been bitten in the past.

“In fact this year in one of the camera hides we found eight. That’s the most we’ve ever found in one day.”

The highly anticipated new series of the show kicked off at the weekend and it certainly hasn’t disappointed up until now!

Last night viewers witnessed the first bushtucker trial of the series, which involved the biggest number of jungle critters ever used in the show’s history.

This didn’t seem to bother the four celebrities taking part however, with the group returning to camp with the maximum number of ten stars.

The show will be temporarily taking a break tonight (Tuesday 15th November) for the football and not everyone was happy about it when Ant and Dec announced the news on last night’s show.

I’m A Celebrity Get Me Out Of Here continues from Wednesday at 9pm.
