Bet you've used or heard at least one or two of these

On Jeff and Lauren in the morning, Mike was covering as Jeff is on his holidays but Mike and Lauren got talking about the lies our parents told us when we were younger.

See if some of your lies or your parents lies are in this little list... (you may also still believe some of these.)

If you eat a pip from a fruit, it will grow inside your belly

If the wind changes, your face will stick like that

If you eat carrots, you'll see in the dark

You can't buy ice cream on a Friday

If you eat your crusts, your hair will go curly

If you pee in the pool it will change colour and everyone will know

If you don't eat your dinner, you won't be getting your desert

When the ice cream van plays the jingle it's to let everyone know it's ran out of ice cream

The park is closed

The steering wheel doesn't turn, so we have to drive passed McDonalds

If you don't behave, the police man will lock you up

The North-east also had lots of lies that parents had told them... have a listen. Can you believe there is crocodiles in the River Dee?
