Queen's Brian May & Roger Taylor share tributes to Freddie Mercury

Queen guitarist Brian May and drummer Roger Taylor both paid tribute to Freddie Mercury on the 29th anniversary of the legendary singer’s death yesterday (24th November).
Truly one of the greatest singers of all time, Freddie Mercury died at his Kensington home on 24th November 1991 aged just 45 years old.
Posting a photo of his late band mate, Brian May wrote on Instagram: “Missing you Freddie, on this day. Rest in Peace. Rock in Eternity. Bri”
Roger Taylor meanwhile posted a Freddie Mercury tribute written on a white board at North Greenwich Underground Station in London by two anonymous workers called All on the Board.
Roger wrote in response: “Thank you @allontheboard. Very moved by this.”
Both the official Queen and Freddie Mercury social accounts posted an iconic on stage image of Freddie Mercury by official photographer Douglas Puddifoot.

Back in May,Queen streamed the entire 1992 Freddie Mercury Tribute Concert to raise money for coronavirus relief. Those watching the stream who could afford were asked to make a donation to the COVID-19 Solidarity Response Fund for the World Health Organization.
The UK leg of Queen + Adam Lambert’s sprawling 27-date European tour is due to hit London, Manchester and Birmingham in June 2021.
The concerts were originally set to take place earlier this year but they were postponed due to the coronavirus pandemic.
