Rush Added To Hall Of Fame

But it\'s not the Rock & Roll Hall Of Fame

Rush have been recognised by a Hall Of Fame – only it’s not the Rock & Roll Hall Of Fame which seems intent on ignoring them forever.

The band will be added to the Canadian Songwriters Hall Of Fame this year when they are inducted on 28 March in Toronto along with one other "modern era" songwriter, Robert Charlebois, and a handful of classic songs (including 'The Hockey Theme' which Rush's Neil Peart recently covered).

"We are honoured to welcome this year's inductees into the Canadian Songwriters Hall of Fame. Each of these artists have helped define Canada's musical legacy and we look forward to recognizing and celebrating their efforts at this year's Gala," says Sylvia Tyson, President, CSHF.
