Metallica’s powerful anthem ‘Atlas, Rise!’ has been given a truly hilarious makeover.
A YouTuber who goes by the moniker of Lars Von Retriever has ingeniously recreated the song using frontman James Hetfield’s idiosyncratic laugh.

The video isn’t the first tour-de-force by Lars Von Retriever. He/she has previously recreated Nirvana’s ‘Smells Like Teen Spirit’ using puppy barks and a version of Slipknot’s ‘Duality’ using Corey Taylor’s guffaw. Check out the full collection here.
‘Atlas, Rise!’ is lifted from Metallica’s tenth studio album ‘Hardwired… To Self-Destruct’, which was unleashed last November.
