Bosses at Ayrshire College are being accused of suspending a lecturer because he lead a strike last week. The EIS says it was told the action was taken against branch secretary Ian Cochrane - who works at the Kilwinning Campus - because of student complaints. It is said to have happened on Wednesday - a day after a strike due to timetable changes. We have contacted Ayrshire College for comment.
