The results are in! Throughout October, Absolute Radio Country has been asking you to vote for your Hero of Country and we can now reveal the Top 50!

Whether they are a classic icon or a brand-new artist, your Hero of Country is the musician you admire. It might not just be for their music, but also for their courage, determination and positivity they bring to the genre.

If they made you fall in love with Country Music, chances are they're your hero!

Together with your votes and our panel of experts, we put together 50 of the top Heroes of Country. Baylen Leonard revealed during the No Repeat Guarantee that Carrie Underwood has been crowned the ultimate hero.

In an exclusive video message, the ‘Before He Cheats’ singer said: “I want to say a huge, huge, huge thank you to all my fans in the UK for voting for me.”

“I feel beyond blessed…” Carrie adds, “I promise I will never take your love and support for granted.”

The Queen of Country, Dolly Parton also made the top 10 alongside Keith Urban, Johnny Cash, Chris Stapleton.

Shania Twain and Luke Combs who have both recently announced sell-out UK Tours in 2023 also made the Top 10.

The Top 50 also includes British Country duo The Shires and Kezia Gill. They sit alongside Kip Moore, Maren Morris, Ashley McBryde and Alan Jackson.

All three headliners for Country to Country 2023 also make the list with Lady A, Thomas Rhett and Zac Brown Band all making the Top 50.
