Multi-platinum superstar and winner of seven Grammys, Carrie Underwood has just announced a massive UK arena tour that starts this summer. It follows the release of her sixth studio album 'Cry Pretty', which debuted at Number 1 on both the Billboard 200 and Top Country Album Charts.

The 'Before He Cheats' singer has earned a place in country music history - being the only woman to land four country albums at the top of the all-genre Billboard 200 chart. 'Cry Pretty' is also the best-selling country album debut of 2018, as well as the biggest country album debut since 2015. Carrie continues to take the world by storm!

The American mum-of-two took to Instagram to announce the UK leg of her Cry Pretty Tour to her adoring fans, waving a Union Jack flag in excitement.

The 2005 American Idol winner will be performing in arenas across Canada and the United States before jetting over the pond to the UK. She has five massive shows planned on the following dates:

JUNE

Friday 28 June - Birmingham Resorts World Arena

Sunday 30 June - Cardiff Motorpoint Arena

JULY

Tuesday 02 July - Glasgow The SSE Hydro

Wednesday 03 July - Manchester Arena

Thursday 04 July - London Wembley The SSE Arena

Teasing fans with behind the scenes rehearsal pictures, the 'Jesus, Take The Wheel' singer will also be joined on the UK tour by the biggest selling UK country act, The Shires. The duo first released their debut album 'Brave' back in 2015, which became the first British country album ever to enter the UK top 10. She's in great company, then!

Her exciting announcement comes only few months after welcoming her second child, a cute baby boy!
