Country Hits Radio is getting a brand new name! From Monday 17th May we’ll be joining the Absolute Radio family and will be known as Absolute Radio Country!
We can’t wait for you to join us at our new home that celebrates music written, created and performed by the biggest British and global country artists. You’ll still be able to hear all your favourite shows and we can’t wait to play you the best country where ‘Real Music Matters’.
From Keith Urban to Maren Morris, Dolly to Darius and everyone in between, you’ll be able to continue listening on DAB, online through through the Absolute Radio App and also on your smart speaker by asking it to “Play Absolute Radio Country”

Does this mean Country Hits is disappearing?
Country Hits is joining the Absolute Radio Family and we’re looking forward to getting to know them. The name will change but we’ll still be here playing you a brilliant country soundtrack 24/7.
How will I be able to listen?
Nothing is changing in terms of how you listen – you’ll still be able to listen at all the same places as before.

Does this mean you’ll be on DAB in my area?
We’re not changing where you can hear us on DAB right now, but you can hear us anywhere through our app/online or through your smart speaker.
When will the change happen?
The changeover will happen on May 17th.
