Country icon Dolly Parton has premiered two more songs from her upcoming debut rock album, ‘Rockstar’, which feature Judas Priest’s Rob Halford and Heart’s Ann Wilson.

One month on from the premiere of lead single ‘World On Fire’, Dolly Parton has shared another original song called ‘Bygones’, which boasts vocals from Rob Halford, and Mötley Crüe’s John 5 and Nikki Sixx on guitar and bass.

Rob Halford previously shared the microphone with Dolly Parton during her all-star performance of ‘Jolene’ at the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame ceremony last November.

Commenting on ‘Bygones’, Dolly Parton said: “‘Bygones’ is an original song of mine featuring Rob Halford from Judas Priest with Nikki Sixx and John 5.

“It is one of my very favourites on the whole album. The song fits with so many couples and coupling my voice with Rob, one of my all-time favourites, made it even more special.”

Alongside ‘Bygones’, Dolly Parton has premiered her cover of Heart’s ‘Magic Man’ featuring vocals from Ann Wilson.

“I’ve always wanted a reason to sing ‘Magic Man’ by Heart and it was one of my first choices for the album,” Parton enthuses.

“I was so happy that Ann Wilson agreed to sing it with me. Nobody can out sing Ann, but I gave it my darndest, and we added a few lines that were not in the original. We wanted to have a few things that made it seem like ours. Hope I’ve made you proud. I think it’s magic!”
