Congratulations to country music star Maren Morris and her husband Ryan Hurd who have shared the birth of their little boy along with revealing his unusual name and date of birth.
Maren reveal in her caption, '30 hours of labor ended with an emergency c-section... not what we planned but I learned pretty quickly that night that having a plan for bringing a human into the world is a fool’s errand. All that mattered was that he got here safely.
'Having him in the middle of a global health crisis was also not in the baby prep books, but here we are. Holding him and healing my body in a maternity ward that’s eerily quiet from us not being allowed visitors or family at this time, but strangely serene.'
This latest post comes nearly a week after the singer posting a series of gorgeous photos announcing the birth of Hayes revealing his date of birth in her caption, 'Hayes Andrew Hurd. 3/23/20. Love of our lives. ✨💕'.
This lovely news comes just a month after Maren announced her new tour for 2020/21 - 'RSVP: The Tour'. Maren plans to perform across the US this year supported by her husband, along with James Arthur and Caitlin Smith. She also revealed that she would be touring the UK in 2021.
Back in October 2019, Maren announced the couple were expecting their first baby, a little boy, so the singer, who released an album called 'GIRL' last year joked, 'The irony is just too rich that after a year of living in the “GIRL” headspace, the universe would give us a baby boy to even things out. See you in 2020, little one. 👶🏻'.
At the time loads of messages of congratulations were left for the couple, with one saying, 'OH MY GOD CONGRATS GUYS IM CRYING!!!!!! IM SO HAPPY RIGHT NOW', with another saying, '😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭 this is the best news ever. I’m so excited for the two of you, you’ll be great parents.' (sic)
Ryan also took to social media to announce the exciting news, telling his fans, 'MY BOYS CAN SWIM. BABY BOY HURD 2020! Look at her...cannot believe this life with this girl. Also, thank you George Constanza for this caption that I’ve been sitting on my entire life...'
