Happy Mondays dancer and maracas shaker Bez has signed up to appear on the next series of Celebrity MasterChef.
The 16th series of Celebrity MasterChef airs on the BBC this summer and Bez – real name Mark Berry - will test his culinary expertise alongside 19 other celebrities.
Once again judged by John Torode and Gregg Wallace, other famous faces taking part this year include Dion Dublin, Katie Price, Joe Swash and Melanie Sykes. Check out the full line-up below.
Bez, of course, is no stranger to TV screens. He won Celebrity Big Brother in 2005 and he’s appeared on dozens of shows including Celebrity Gogglebox, Bargain Hunt, The Crystal Maze, Never Mind The Buzzcocks and Celebrity Mastermind to name but a few.
He kicked off 2021 by launching a series of online fitness classes on YouTube called Get Buzzin’ With Bez. He said he was inspired to start the classes after getting out of shape during lockdown.
Happy Mondays are set to embark on a UK arena tour this autumn with fellow Manchester music legends James. Tickets are on sale from Absolute Radio Tickets now.
