Blossoms add extra dates to spring 2021 UK tour

Stockport’s prodigal sons, Blossoms, have added two extra dates their rescheduled spring 2021 UK tour.
The band will now open their trek at Lincoln Engine Shed on Wednesday 17th March and play Stoke Victoria Hall two days later.
The tour also takes in previously announced gigs in Leicester, Cambridge, Newcastle, Glasgow, Hull, Leeds, Birmingham, and London – where they play three nights at the O2 Forum Kentish Town – before culminating with a massive gig at Manchester Arena on Saturday 3rd April.
Tickets to the new shows go on sale from Absolute Radio Tickets at 9am on Friday 4th September. A limited number of tickets are still available to the band’s shows in Leicester and Manchester.
Blossoms will release their double album ‘In Isolation/Live From The Plaza Theatre’ on Friday 23rd October.
The first disc of the double album, ‘In Isolation’, is a compilation of Blossoms’ lockdown performances and features new versions of their songs and a variety of covers.
Guest performers include Courteeners’ Liam Fray on a version of ‘Please Don’t’, The Coral’s James Skelly on a version of ‘Dreaming Of You’ and Miles Kane on their Tame Impala cover ‘The Less I Know The Better.’
‘Live From The Plaza’ meanwhile was recorded at Stockport Plaza Theatre in February of this year, which served as a launch show for their number one album ‘Foolish Loving Spaces’.
