On the eve of their sold-out UK arena tour, back on 1st November Llandudno indie rock marvels Catfish and the Bottlemen performed a gig for Absolute Radio in front of just 800 fans at University of London Union.

Throughout the scintillating 13-song set, the band had the entire venue bouncing as they delved into material from all three of their studio albums - 2014 breakthrough ‘The Balcony’, 2016’s chart-topping ‘The Ride’ and this past April’s ‘The Balance’.

For a band more accustomed to headlining festivals and vast arenas, to see Catfish and the Bottlemen perform in ultra-intimate surroundings in front of their fervent fans was very special indeed.

Fortunately, we now have full video footage of six songs from that night for you to feast your eyes and ears on – set opener ‘Longshot’ plus ‘2all’, ‘Cocoon’, ‘7’, ‘Kathleen’ and ‘Soundcheck’.
