Deep Purple have rescheduled their upcoming October 2020 UK arena tour with special guests Blue Öyster Cult to autumn 2021.

The rock legends’ Whoosh! Tour will now visit Manchester Arena, Leeds First Direct Arena, Glasgow The SSE Hydro, London The O2 and Birmingham Utilita Arena in early October next year.

All tickets will remain valid to the rescheduled shows.

Earlier this spring, Deep Purple delayed the release of their 21st studio album ‘Whoosh!’ by two months because of the ongoing coronavirus pandemic.

Featuring the huge anthem ‘Throw My Bones’, the follow-up to 2017’s ‘Infinite’ will now be released on Friday 7th August 2020 via earMUSIC.

For the third consecutive album, Deep Purple have joined forces with esteemed producer Bob Ezrin (KISS, Pink Floyd, Alice Cooper) on ‘Whoosh!’, who personally invited the band to Nashville to write and record new songs.

‘Whoosh!’ is described as Deep Purple’s ‘most versatile’ and ‘boundary pushing’ collaboration with Bob Ezrin yet, and it’s the sound of ‘Deep Purple is putting the Deep back into Purple.’

Thematically it sees Deep Purple ‘voice their resentment about the current situation of the world and addressing all generations.’
