Elbow have announced a seven-date UK arena tour for May 2024 in support of their upcoming tenth studio album.

The boys from Bury will release their yet-to-be-titled tenth record in March 2024 and they follow it two months later with seven arena shows.

Opening at Brighton Centre on Tuesday 7th May, the tour visits London, Birmingham, Glasgow, Leeds and Manchester before culminating at Nottingham Motorpoint Arena on Wednesday 15th May.

Tickets go on sale from Absolute Radio Tickets at 10am on Friday 27th October.

Commenting on Elbow’s first arena shows in six years, vocalist Guy Garvey says: “We love the intimacy of theatres, but we have some very big songs and the electricity of 20,000 people singing along cannot be denied. So, the big rooms it is and big shows they will be. Can’t wait to see everybody again.”

Elbow’s new album was written and recorded in their individual studios in Manchester and London and progressed with a period together in the Cotswolds.

Production and mixing were finalised at their spiritual home of Blueprint Studios, Salford, central to all elbow albums.

The band’s nine studio albums to date have seen elbow amass a host of awards, including a BRIT, a Mercury prize, and multiple Ivor Novello songwriting awards. After performing at the 2012 London Olympics closing ceremony the band were granted the freedom of their hometown of Bury.
