More bands added to Absolute Radio's virtual Isle of Wight Front Room Festival
Including Queen + Adam Lambert and R.E.M.
Five more blockbuster bands have been added to Absolute Radio’s virtual Isle of Wight Front Room Festival this coming weekend.
Under normal circumstances, this week we would be digging out our mud-encrusted wellies and tents and stocking up on copious amounts of tinned food for another glorious weekend at Seaclose Park for Isle of Wight Festival.
However, as the real festival isn’t happening this year, here at Absolute Radio we’re celebrating Isle of Wight Festival on air with a very special IOW Front Room Festival from Friday 12th to Sunday 14th June 2020.

Joining the Friday line-up are Welsh wonders Manic Street Preachers and the mighty R.E.M., who played a truly phenomenal set back in June 2005.
On Saturday, we welcome Queen + Adam Lambert to the Isle of Wight Front Room Festival line-up alongside serial chart-conqueror George Ezra who headlined IOW last year.
Completing the line-up additions is Oasis legend Liam Gallagher and we’ll be playing the best bits from his headline set at Isle of Wight’s 50th anniversary event in 2018.
The five new acts join an Isle of Wight Festival Front Room Festival weekend bill that already boasts David Bowie (his last ever UK show in 2004), The Rolling Stones, Paul McCartney, Foo Fighters, Depeche Mode, Red Hot Chili Peppers, The Who, Kings of Leon, Noel Gallagher’s High Flying Birds, Kasabian and many more.
Sarah Champion, Ben Burrell, Danielle Perry, Ross Buchanan and Bush and Richie will be your hosts for the weekend and they will be in our virtual backstage tent with all of these incredible performances.
It all kicks off at 7pm on Friday 12th June! Get your wellies ready!
