Just five months before Kendal Calling 2020 kicks off, more than 50 acts have been added to the Lowther Deer Park extravaganza!

Joining headliners Foals, Stereophonics, Supergrass and Primal Scream are inimitable electro pop icons Goldfrapp, who play Kendal Calling on Sunday 2nd August.

Also confirmed today are The Slow Readers Club, Feet, The Stanleys, The Blue Stones, Retro Video Club, Marie White and Lindsay Munroe, while Afterglow will host Don’t Flop, Grime Orchestra and Kendal’s Got Talent.

Bringing the comedy to Kendal Calling on The Soapbox Stage are Tez Ilyas, Gary Delaney Marcus Brigstocke, Matt Reed, Jojo Sutherland, Elf Lyons, Mark Nelson, Daisy Earl, Rachel Jackson, Morgan Rees, Danny McLoughlin, Ryan Cullen, Mike Newall, Pete Otway, Liam Withnail, Matt Bragg, Darcie Silver, Thomas Green, Toussant Douglass, Chris Betts Vs The Audience, Karaoke Rumble, Dabbers Social Bingo and Game Over! Retro Arcade Quiz Show.

Kendal Calling will be ushering in their 15th Birthday celebrations with ‘Carneville’ - a new immersive funfair destination at the festival full of stages (including two new stages for 2020), traditional funfair games and rides alongside a cast of quirky characters and more across the new late-night area.

Yam Riot within the ‘Caneville’ will boast performances from Hardwicke Circus, mylittlebrother, Giant Loop Of Sound, Quiet Tiger, Laura James, Bryony Jarman-Pinto, Chncer, Jon Dawes, Indie Street Club, Nova Blood, The Native Cult, Arran George, Beast Decoys, Pulp Friction, Stipe, Nicolah Hannah Rose Pitchford, Maz O’Connor, The Machine Rages On, Wrong Jovi, Daft Funk Live, Bulsara & His Queenies, These Smiths, Oasis Maybe, Transmission and The Marley Experience.

Elsewhere, newly confirmed for Chai Wallah are Lazy Habitats, Afla Sackey & Afrik, Bawantu Kosmo Sound, Bring Your Own Brass, Bare Jams, Gypsies Of Bohemia, Thumpasauras, The Tribe, Bryony Jarman-Pinto, Shunaji, Ryan Young, Jellymans Daughter and Ceitidh Mac.

Kid Kapichi, False Advertising, Dakota Avenue, The Northern Threads, Mickey 9 and Genn Amy Lou are all confirmed for Off-Axis, while Natalie McCool, Chloe Foy, Mali Hayes, Iora Dilettante, Diving Station, Niki Kand and Martha Hill play the Woodlands Stage.

Completing today’s line-up announcement are Sean McGowan, Non Canon, Deux Furieuses and Guise on Frank Turner’s Xtra Mile Recordings Takeover, plus Electric Soup Takeover Ft Jonny Donat / Carl Tait / Ian Pattinson, Fascino Nights and Brickyard Motown Moonstomp on the Kendal Calling Soundsystem.

Celebrating its 15th glorious year this summer, Kendal Calling once again takes place at the stunning surroundings of Lowther Deer Park in the Lake District on the weekend of Thursday 30th July to Sunday 2nd August 2020. Tickets are on sale now!
