Liam Gallagher launches 'Part With Your Parka' initiative to help the homeless
He's aiming the help people sleeping on the streets

Liam Gallagher is calling on fans to donate their coats or parkas to the homeless this winter through his Part With Your Parka initiative.
The former Oasis frontman launched the campaign over the weekend and he’s joined forces with four charities fighting homelessness; Shelter, Centre Point, Inner City Helping Homeless and Aberdeen Cyrenians.
Fans can donate their coats or parkas at donation points around the UK over the next two-and-a-half weeks during Liam Gallagher’s headline tour. The completely and utterly sold out tour kicks off in Cardiff tonight (11th November).
Those fans who pledge their coats will have the chance to win tickets to each corresponding tour date and a meet and greet with Liam himself.
A post on Liam’s Instagram reads: “No one plans on being homeless. Yet 5,000 people in the UK sleep on the streets on any given night.
“We’re asking you to help this winter by donating a coat or parka. In return for your donation, you’ll have the chance to win a pair of tickets, plus a meet and greet with Liam (one winner for each show on the UK Nov tour).”
