New Order have rescheduled their upcoming one-off concert at London’s The O2 due to the coronavirus pandemic.

The music legends were scheduled to play the world-famous Greenwich Peninsula venue on Saturday 10th October 2020, however the show has now been pushed back almost 13 months to Saturday 6th November 2021.

It will be their only UK concert of next year and all original tickets remain valid. Select tickets are available to buy from Absolute Radio Tickets right now.

New Order said in a statement: “Unfortunately we have to announce that our show at The O2 this October will be moving to 6th November 2021.

“Tickets for the original date will remain valid for the new dates but refunds will be available if required in due course.

“Thank you for your understanding. Stay safe, and we look forward to seeing you in 2021.”

New Order played a series of European dates last summer including headline slots at The Amphitheatre on Bristol Harbourside , Bluedot Festival at Jodrell Bank in Macclesfield and Victorious Festival in Portsmouth.

The band’s tenth studio album ‘Music Complete’ topped the UK album chart when it was released in September 2015. It featured guest slots from The Killers’ Brandon Flowers on ‘Superheated’, Iggy Pop (‘Stray Dog’) and La Roux’s Elly Jackson (‘Tutti Frutti’ and ‘People on the High Line’).
