Suede will perform their chartbusting 1996 album ‘Coming Up’ in its glorious entirety at three very special UK concerts in October 2020.

Part of a larger European trek, the band will perform shows at Edinburgh Usher Hall (Thursday 22nd October), Manchester O2 Victoria Warehouse (Friday 23rd October) and London Alexandra Palace (Saturday 24th October).

As well as playing ‘Coming Up’ from start to finish, Suede will also be delving into their back catalogue to perform a generous smattering of hits and treats.

Tickets go on sale from Absolute Radio Tickets at 9am on Friday 7th February.

Originally released on 2nd September 1996, ‘Coming Up’ became the second Suede album to reach number one following their self-titled debut three years earlier. 1994’s ‘Dog Man Star’ peaked at number three.

‘Coming Up’ spawned five Top 10 singles – ‘Trash’ (which singer Brett Anderson calls Suede’s defining song), ‘Beautiful Ones’, ‘Saturday Night’, ‘Lazy’ and ‘Filmstar’ – and it was certified Platinum in the UK in January 1997.

Lauded by critics, it was nominated for the 1997 Mercury Music Prize, and in 2000 was hailed as the 96th greatest British album ever by Q Magazine.
